이번에 소개할 오피스 어플리케이션은 전에 소개해드렸던 리브레오피스처럼

오픈 문서 형식을 준수하면서 무료로 배포되는 IBM Lotus Symphony 3입니다.

맞습니다.엑셀 이전의 스프레드시트의 본좌 로터스 1-2-3을 만들었던 회사가

파산하면서 IBM에 흡수된 후, IBM에서 오픈오피스 기반의 메커니즘을 바탕으로

로터스 1-2-3의 기술을 이어받은 신개념 오피스 어플리케이션으로 거듭난

것이 바로 IBM 로터스 심포니입니다.

Right, A company developed Lotus 1-2-3: The king of spreadsheet before

Microsoft released Excel, is bankrupted. And It's merged with IBM.

IBM reformed it to cover with the mechanism of background of OpenOffice

to release it as new office application with new concept.

로터스 심포니는 여기 에서 다운 받으실 수 있으며 

모든 안내는 영문으로 되어있습니다. 각 OS의 설정 언어에 따라서 자동으로

사용자에게 맞는 언어로 사용하실 수 있습니다.

installation is written for English. This program can be set for your

languages in use on your computer OS automatically.

물론 윈도우즈, 맥 OS X 그리고 각종 리눅스에서 사용 가능합니다.

리눅스에서는 터미널 명령어를 입력하는 수동 설치 과정이 조금 번거로울 수

있겠네요. 그래도 모든 설치 방법은 설치 사이트에 다 나와 있습니다.

Of course, it is available to install for Windows, Mac OS X and

some kind of Linux even some of installation procedure for

Linux would be complicated a little bit due to input some command 

on the terminal window. But all of installation procedure is guided 

at this website for installation of Lotus Symphony.

로터스 심포니 3의 메인 화면입니다. 모든 문서는 탭으로 간단히 관리할 수

있습니다. 그리고 이것은 고유의 웹브라우저를 가지고 있으며 로터스 심포니가

필요한 추가 기능 지원을 받을 수 있습니다. 

This is main screen of IBM Lotus Symphony 3. All of document can be 

controlled on the tap. Also, it contains their own web browser 

to support additional function for this office application as well.

엑셀에서 작성한 문서를 열어보았습니다. 거의 똑같이 호환이 됩니다.

로터스 1-2-3 시절의 명성은 죽지 않고 IBM의 심포니로 다시 부활하는군요.

I opened a spreadsheet file written by Microsoft Excel at this application.

Most of all functions and forms are adapted as well like Excel.

The fame of Lotus 1-2-3 isn't dead but has rebirth as Symphony with IBM.
